About the company

 

Ryanairis an Irish airline headquartered in Dublin. Its biggest operational base however is at London Stansted Airport. It is one of Europe's largest low-cost carriers and one of Europe's most successful airlines, operating on 362 routes to 22 countries. Over the years it has evolved into a profitable airline, running at remarkable margins by passing its costs directly to its customers.

 

In the current year Ryanair will carry over 35m. passengers on 440 low fare routes across 24 European countries. They have 18 European bases and a fleet of over 100 brand new Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with firm orders for a further 138 new aircraft, which will be delivered over the next six years. These additional aircraft will allow Ryanair to double in size to over 70m. passengers p.a. by 2012. Ryanair currently employs a team of 3,500 people, comprising over 25 different nationalities.

Minimum requirements needed to apply as cabin crew

 

g Be at least 18 years of age

g A minimum height of 5'2" (1.58m) with weight in proportion

g Experienced in dealing with the public & comfortable in a selling role

g Be physically fit with a good attendance record with previous employer

g Of normal vision (contact lenses are acceptable)

g Able to swim well

g Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

g Be in possession of a valid EU passport and have the right to work in any of the EU countries

g Prepared to live within 1 hours travelling time of any Ryanair base

g A fixed contract for 3 years with a cabin crew agency who are contracted to supply cabin crew to

      Ryanair

g Excellent earnings based on your efforts - new contract crew can expect to earn £1000/€1400 per

      month after tax in year 1

      after just one year.
