We recruit more often for London Heathrow and popular bases such as
Manchester generally have long waiting lists.
You’ll remain at your original base for 12 months before you can
transfer to another.
what are the requirements?
our minimum age is 18, there is no maximum age limit although the
mandatory retirement age is 65
between 5’2” and 6’.2” in height with weight in proportion*
qualifications: minimum 4 GCSE’s at grades A – C or the equivalent (NVQ
level 2/grade 1 CSE only). Certificates must be presented at
interview or before employment
applicants must hold a 10 year British or European passport before
employment OR have the indefinite right to live and work in the UK,
as well as any relevant visas. Copies of passport stamps should be
included with applications from non-European passport holders
a minimum of 12 month's experience in a customer-facing role
a high standard of physical fitness and a visual acuity of 6/9 in
each eye, aided or unaided. Contact lenses are preferred but glasses
are acceptable
a good standard of fluency in the English language
immaculate appearance
* There may be a lower height restriction at some bases where the
aircraft type operated has a maximum height allowance of 5’10”.

expanding route network. To ensure our operation runs smoothly and
efficiently we need to employ the very best people.
Eastern Airways has both Flight Crew and Cabin Crew based at the
following UK airports - Aberdeen, Durham Tees Valley, East Midlands,
Humberside, Isle of Man, Leeds/Bradford, Newcastle, Norwich,
Southampton and Wick.
Airport ground staff are generally employed by our handling agents
at the airports to which we operate. We do however also employ our
own ground representatives at Aberdeen, Humberside and Wick
airports.
Eastern Airways headquarters is located at Humberside Airport, North
Lincolnshire.
The majority of administration staff are based here.

CABIN CREW - Aberdeen
Our Cabin Crew deliver excellence in Cabin service on our fleet of
Jetstream and Saab turboprop aircraft, at various bases across the
UK. To join us, you must be of smart appearance with weight in
proportion to height and a great team player. Own transport and a
full clean driving license are essential, while previous experience
in customer service is preferred. Flying as Cabin Crew is shift work
with long and often unsociable hours. Cabin Crew need to live within
1 hour's travelling time of their base airport. Previous applicants
need not apply.

Description:
Champion guest satisfaction in relation to quality, presentation and
timeliness of all food and beverage delivery on board. Monitor pre-
and post-flight catering activities.
Develop and implement measures to ensure that the product design and
delivery matches the level of Etihad's World Best Standards
communicated, promised and expected by guests in all guest travel
classes every time.
Additional Key Responsibilities Include:
Adhere to all company policies and GCAA regulations and ensure a
safe cabin environment is maintained. Operate mechanical and
emergency safety equipment.
Provide assistance and timely communication to guests during
emergencies and unusual incidents (delayed flight, severe weather
condition, turbulent flight, etc.)
Ability to resolve guest issues in a satisfactory manner at all
times. Accountable for ensuring all safety procedures are followed
according to GCAA Regulations and Company issued manuals. Provide
input to menus design, wine selection, galley loading, dry stores
items in conjunction with the Catering team. Attend and manage
quality checks with AUH catering as operationally required. Oversee
galley management performance in Diamond First, Pearl Business.
Ensure food and beverages are served at the correct temperatures and
in a timely manner to meet the needs of the guest. Experienced and
knowledgeable of all beverages offered onboard and cocktails that
can be made in Diamond First and Pearl Business class.
Ensure that all beverages and food items are delivered and presented
according to inspired service standards. Link to lounges by meeting
guests pre departure, collecting valuable info re beverage
preference, meal choices, pre order of meals on late night flights
to speed up meal service. Oversee and have accountability for the
catering loading of all cabins, refusing items that are not of an
acceptable standard and liaise with Ground Staff and Catering
regarding upgrades. Sign off catering delivery note after
consultation with all galley operators in Diamond First and Pearl
Business, and Cabin Senior in Coral Economy class. Conduct in-flight
audits on service delivery standards and product knowledge. Guest
engagement Focus on F and J. Seek opportunities for appropriate
engagement with guests, e.g. as guests board, during services and at
all other times throughout the flight. Support crew when guests need
specific information about food/beverages. Monitor guest
satisfaction with beverages and meals and obtain feedback on guest
satisfaction with regards to catering overall
Qualifications:
Educated to a minimum level of accredited secondary education or
equivalent.
Experience:
Junior F&B Manager, F&B Supervisor or Assistant Manager in 5-star
hotel properties
Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Sommelier, Maitre
d’, Sous Chef or Head Waiter in high-end recognized restaurants
Executive Chefs with F&B experience
Sky Chefs or equivalent with F&B background and/or service industry
across all functions, with a detailed knowledge of food Cooking and
preparation.
Cabin Crew experience is an asset.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
Must have a high standard of English; verbal, written and
comprehension. Fluency in another language (Arabic or other) is an
advantage.
Requirements:
Minimum age 26 years
Weight proportionate to height
Medically fit to meet regulatory requirements
Ability to swim at least 25m unaided in open water, without a
flotation device
Must successfully complete initial training program as a condition
of employment and maintain a cabin crew license.
Must be able to reach 214 cm without wearing shoes.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs from the floor to above
shoulder level.

Experience: Flybe is the third largest low fares airline in Europe.
To become a member of Flybe Cabin Crew, you need to be minimum
height 5ft 2in (157cm), maximum 6ft 2in (188cm) and weight must be
in proportion to height with the ability to wear the company uniform
to standard. You will need to be well groomed with no visible tatoos.
You must have at least three GCSEs Grade C (or equivalent) or above,
including English and Mathematics.
Some experience in a customer/sales/service environment is
preferred. You must be in possession of a full, valid EU passport or
ID with no restrictions and any non-EU passport holders must be in
possession of a valid work permit and/or Visa which must allow entry
to any Flybe destination. Applications will only be considered from
applicants who meet all our criteria. A full and valid driving
licence is essential.
If you can offer all of these qualities together with bags of
enthusiasm, we can offer you a competitive salary package that
includes flight pay and commission on sales as well as excellent
Staff Travel.
You will be afforded top class training at our Training Academy in
