We recruit more often for London Heathrow and popular bases such as
Manchester generally have long waiting lists.
You’ll remain at your original base for 12 months before you can
transfer to another.
what are the requirements?
our minimum age is 18, there is no maximum age limit although the
mandatory retirement age is 65
between 5’2” and 6’.2” in height with weight in proportion*
qualifications: minimum 4 GCSE’s at grades A – C or the equivalent (NVQ
level 2/grade 1 CSE only). Certificates must be presented at
interview or before employment
applicants must hold a 10 year British or European passport before
employment OR have the indefinite right to live and work in the UK,
as well as any relevant visas. Copies of passport stamps should be
included with applications from non-European passport holders
a minimum of 12 month's experience in a customer-facing role
a high standard of physical fitness and a visual acuity of 6/9 in
each eye, aided or unaided. Contact lenses are preferred but glasses
are acceptable
a good standard of fluency in the English language

* There may be a lower height restriction at some bases where the

CityJet is regularly recruiting cabin crew for initial and
conversion courses. Successful applicants will be working from
Dublin or London
To be considered for a position as CityJet Cabin Crew applicants
must be able to meet the following criteria:
You must be at least 18 years of age
You must be in general good health
Minimum height of 1.58m (5'2")
You must be educated to Secondary Level (Leaving Certificate,
Baccalaureat standard) or its equivalent
You must be in possession of a valid European Union passport and
have the right to work in European Union member countries
You must be able to swim
You should be prepared to work any day of the year, at any time of
the day and reside no further than one hours journey for your
assigned base
Preference will be given to candidates with conversational or fluent

recruiting for cabin crew jobs to provide sufficient staffing levels to cover our
expanding route network. To ensure our operation runs smoothly and
efficiently we need to employ the very best people.
Eastern Airways has both Flight Crew and Cabin Crew based at the
following UK airports - Aberdeen, Chester/Hawarden, Durham Tees
Valley, East Midlands, Humberside, Inverness, Isle of Man,

Requirements

aircraft types.
Educated to at least high school standard.
Medically fit to meet aircrew requirements.
Fluent in written and spoken English (fluency in another language is
an asset).

Minimum requirements for Cabin Crew job...
Minimum Age
18
Height / Weight
Minimum of 5 ft 2 in (157 cm), maximum 6 ft 2 in (188 cm) with
weight in proportion to height.
Appearance
The ability to wear the company uniform is essential. Well cared for
hands and nails are important.
Health
Excellent health and hearing. Good eyesight.
Education
You must have a minimum of 3 GCSE's grade C (or equivalent). These
must include Math & English. Nursing, First Aid and a knowledge of a
second language would be useful but not essential. Candidates must
be confident in water and able to swim unaided.
Nationality
You must be in possession of a full, valid EU passport or ID with no
restrictions on your employment in the base of application, nor
travel to any Flybe destination. Any non-EU passport holders must be
in possession of a valid work permit and or Visa which allow entry
to all Flybe destinations.
Work experience
A minimum of 12 months face to face customer service experience is
preferred, ideally in the sales and service industry.
Training
You must complete an intensive four week training course at our
Training School in Exeter. The course will include aircraft safety
exams, fire drill, lifesaving and First Aid, and you must achieve a
pass mark of 80% or more in order to qualify as a member of Flybe
cabin crew.
Residential requirements
Successful applicants must live within 60 minutes travelling
distance from their base airport.
Residential requirements
You must be in possession of a full and valid driving licence with
no restrictions as you may be required on occasion to drive a
vehicle between bases.
The ability to accept the unpredictable is essential.
Those looking for a 9-5 job need not apply.
