practical sessions including group work, presentation skills, and
learn about all aspects of what being a holiday rep is all about. It is your chance for your
students to talk to holiday reps and learn about the job and answer
all the questions they have. The training day is conducted in
a fun and relaxed atmosphere, which means not only will they learn,
but your day will be an enjoyable one.

A full review of how a holiday rep interview is structured -
You will understand exactly how a holiday rep interview is
structured for all types of rep jobs including 18 to 30 club reps.
We explain what happens from start to finish and what the tour
company recruitment teams are looking for.
Welcome meetings
- You will understand what happens at a welcome meeting, what's
included and your chance to practice.
Paperwork as a Holiday rep - You
will learn about why paperwork is so important and how the forms are
completed.
Why 1st impressions are important at your interview - You
will learn how to make the best possible 1st impression at your
interview and understand why this is so important.
Preparation for typical tour company interview tests -
Experience what it is like completing a typical test paper. We will
show you all the information you need to know with guidance from our
interviewers.
'A week in the life of a holiday rep' - a behind the scenes
look of what duties are involved, your hours, what salaries you can
expect, what questions customers ask. We cover all types of rep jobs
in this session including 18 to 30, family, children's, transfer
repping and more. This session will help you decide which job is
right for you.
Tour operator application forms - we will point out the areas
tour companies are most interested in to make you stand out amongst
the rest.
Resort information - a look at the different resorts that you
can be based in when working as a rep.
Group work based on an rep interview - group work is a vital
part of your interview, you will be trained on how to act and what
to say. Role plays and team exercises on your training day will give
you an excellent chance to put this into practice.
2 on 1 based on an rep interview - the 2 on 1 interview is
the most feared, but we will give you an insight into the kinds of
questions they will ask you and what answers to give.
What is a welcome meeting - a look into what happens at a welcome
meeting and to see what it includes.
Basic selling skills - we will provide you with simple
selling techniques. Useful for when you work as a rep and for your
presentations at your interview.
Preparation on how to present yourself to a group of people -
a vital session as you will have to do this at your interview. We
train you on how to talk and present yourself clearly without
putting you in an embarrassing situation. You will have the
opportunity to stand up and practice a presentation to the group.
Personal presentation - the image tour companies are looking
for and tips on what to wear at your interview.
Tour company training courses - an insight in what you will
learn and what to expect on the training course once you have got
the position as a holiday rep.
