Applying to the Tour Operators |
|||
|
There are two ways that you can apply to the tour operators for any holiday rep position. The first is by going to them directly, nearly three quarters of applicants fail at this stage and not given an interview.
The second is by completing the Holiday Rep Ticket Diploma Training Course. This training course is recognised by all major tour operators. Candidates completing the diploma course are very desirable as the tour operators are guaranteed that they will have good quality applicants who have an understanding of the job they are applying for. This is why some tour operators will actually recommend that potential candidates should complete the course before applying.
The advantage of doing it this way is the tour operators can see that you have made a positive step in actually researching the job and what is involved, rather than going into it blindly. Also contained within the online training course are application forms and direct contact details for all of the tour operators, as well as receiving full support in completing them. 99% of candidates using this service will receive interviews.
After completion of the Holiday Rep Ticket Diploma course, Cosmos, Thomson & Kosmar will guarantee candidates meeting their minimum requirements an interview.
